Chocolate Mint Tea

6  peppermint tea bags
6 cups (48oz.) milk
6 tablespoons hot chocolate mix

Place tea bags in bottom of pan.  Add milk
and heat to just under boiling.  Remove tea
bags.  Place one tablespoon chocolate in
each cup and pour one cup of hot minted
milk over chocolate.  Serve with fresh mint
leaf or peppermint stick candy.

For a different taste in your tea, why not add a touch of almond flavoring . It has
a delightful and refreshing taste, especially in ice tea.
Cucumber-Cream Cheese Sandwiches

Cucumbers, peeled and sliced very thin and chopped.
White bread, thinly sliced with crusts removed,
Cream Cheese, softened

Blend cream cheese and chopped cucumbers and spread on bread slices. You may cut in desired shapes if you like.


Chicken Salad Sandwiches

2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
1/4 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped small
1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped small
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Celery, chopped small
mayonnaise, and salt & pepper to taste
Bread with crust removed

Combine chicken, nuts, apples, celery & cheese, seasonings and mayonnaise. Mix
until it is spreadable consistency. Spread
over bread, cover with another slice of bread and cut into 4 triangular pieces.
Egg Salad Tea Sandwiches

4 boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tbsp. pickle relish
1/8 tsp. prepared mustard
1/8 tsp. dill
8 slices thin white bread

Dice eggs and mix with other ingredients.
Chill thoroughly.  Spread egg misture onto
bread.  Remove crusts and cut into squares
or triangles.  You may garnish with parsley.
Lemon Whipper Snaps

One box lemon cake mix
2 cups cool whip, thawed in refrigerator
1 egg
2 tsp. flour
Powdered Sugar

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease cookie
sheets.  Combine cake mix, cool ship, egg,
and flour. Then roll into 1" balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place 2 inches apart on
cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Yields 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
Pumpkin Crunch Cake

One 15oz. can pumpkin
One 12oz. can evaporated milk
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp salt

Mix together above ingredients and pour into greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Then
mix together:
1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup chopped pecans

Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the
first layer in pan. Slice butter and sprinkle.
Then sprinkle with nuts.  Bake at 350
for 55 minutes.

Freeze fruit juice or lemonade in ice cube
trays for additional flavor to your ice tea.
You may also, add honey or maple syrup
to your hot tea for a different taste.
The tea pot is on, the cups are waiting,
don't just sit there, hesitating.
Grandma's Tea Cakes
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
3 Tbsp. milk
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
flour

Mix ingredients together with enough flour to make a stiff dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
