A mother's day is never done,
So, keep showing her she's....# 1
A mother's greatest gift is the gift of a child.
A child will make
love stronger,
days shorter,
nights longer,
the home happier
the past forgotten,
and the future
worth living for
Anoynous
Mothers are the place we call home,
Never far away do we want to roam.
M-O-T-H-E-R
M   is for the million things she gave me,
O    means only that she's growing older,
T     is for the tears she shed to save me,
H    is for her heart of purest gold,
E     is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
R    means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "Mother",
A word that means the world to me.

Things Mothers Say
I'm going to give you until the count of three.
Don't pick, it'll get infected.
I would have never talked to MY mother like that!
Who do you think you are?
If I catch you doing that one more time, I'll...
You had better wipe that smile off your face before I do it for you.
Don't use that tone with me!
Look at me when I'm talking to you.
You're going to put your eye out with that thing!
Your father is going to hear about this when HE gets home!
Don't put that in your mouth, you don't know where it's been.
Money does NOT grow on trees.
You made your bed, now lie in it.
This hurts me more than it hurts you.
Don't make me tell you again.
Stop your crying before I give you something to cry about.
What do you mean CARRY ME? I carried you for nine months!
What would you do if I wasn't here?
You'll miss me when I' m gone.
Close your mouth when you're eating.
Act your age.
I would have never talked to MY mother like that!
Wipe your feet!
I'm not just talking to hear my own voice.
As long as you live under my roff, you'll do as I say.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
And here's the #1 of all time!
WHY? BECAUSE I SAID SO, THAT'S WHY?

These are just a few. Can you relate to any of these?
You Know you're a Mother When..
You hide in the bathroom to be alone.
Your kid throws up and you catch it.
You hope ketchup is a vegetable, since it's the only one your child eats.
You can't bear the thought of your son's first girlfriend, or your's daughter's first boyfriend.
You can't bear to give away baby clothes..it's so final.
You hear your mother's voice coming out of your mouth when you say. "NOT in your good clothes!"
You hire a sitter because you haven't been out with your husband in ages, then spend half the night checking on the kids.
You use your own saliva to clean your child's face.
You say at least once a day. "I'm not cut out for this job", but you know you wouldn't trade it for anything.
Mothers are the gardeners of wind-blown flowers,
Nourishing them and watching them grow for many hours,
Watering them with their happy tears,
Filling hearts with memories through the years.

A Mother's Love

God gives a special kind of love to the heart of a mother,
A love that transcends all others.

She loves and cherishes her child,
Making his life seem worthwhile.

A mother's love comes from the heart,
Flowing with goodness to others she imparts.

Her love will flow back to whom it's given,
So, give her a rose where love lies hidden.
