Beams of Hope By: John Stines
Where there is no light, There is total darkness. Where there is total darkness, One gropes about aimlessly, Not knowing where he turns, Nor the direction of his steps. When a beam of light shines Into that darkness, And the one who is in total darkness Sees that beam, He can follow the beam that shines forth, And can know the direction of his steps. If he follows the beam long and far enough, He will be led to the Source from which it came. I, the Lord, am the Source of light, From whom beams shine forth. You, My children are the beams of hope, To lead the hopeless out of total darkness. |
